eWAY Changes to Password Policies

Important changes to your MYeWAY password

In the coming weeks, eWAY will be making a change to our password policies for logging into MYeWAY/Partner Portal. eWAY will be enforcing stricter password requirements and will need users to change their password every 60 days. These requirements exceed those of PCI-DSS compliance to ensure that your payment portal remains secure.

A summary of the new password policies are below:

  • Passwords must be a minimum of 8 characters long. 
  • Passwords must contain at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one number. 
  • Passwords will expire every 60 days and you will be prompted to change your password after logging in. 
  • New passwords must be unique and cannot be the same as your 5 most recent passwords.
