    The Power of Local Searches

    Recent surveys across 600 SEO respondents and 1250 consumers showed some compelling local search results.

    The SEO respondents ranked the top sources of traffic to their clients sites - 



    Google dominates local traffic with 58% of visitors to local sites coming directly from Google Places and Google.com  with Yahoo, Facebook and Bing coming in behind.

    Their is also mention that 60% of consumers prefer an image with the local listing and are more influenced to act.

    The importance of local searches cannot be ignored and using the Local Places listings on the top three search engines is the best way to ensure you are considered in these searches.
